Getting started

  1. Install the app: Add to Slack
  2. Invite the bot to your opportunities channel.
  3. Sign in at /login and open Admin to link Slack member IDs.
  4. Connect Google Calendar (optional) for automatic visit invites.
  5. Run /hvac-help in Slack for available commands.

Common issues

Slash commands do nothing
Confirm the app is installed, the bot is in the channel, and your Slack user ID is linked in Admin (starts with U).
Calendar invites not sent
Connect Google Calendar in Admin or run /hvac-connect-calendar in Slack. The scheduler must also enter a valid invite email or pick a workspace member.
Not authenticated in Admin
Sign in at /login first. Use the email linked to your organization.
